How to Use The Carpet Calculator
Welcome to our carpet calculator! This tool makes it easy to estimate how much carpet you need for your room, as well as the total cost of the carpet.
Enter the width and length of your room from the furthest points in centimetres. Also, input the cost per square meter if you know it (if not leave this blank) then our carpet calculator will take care of the rest!
For example the width of the room in the floor plan image below is measurement 'A' whereas the length is 'B' + 'C'.
IMPORTANT: Ensure to measure the full depth of doorways and add 10 cm to both your final width and length measurements as a cutting allowance.
Note: If the width you enter is less than 400 cm, our tool will round up to 400 cm. If it's over 400 but below 500 cm, our tool will round it up to 500 cm. This is due to carpets having standard widths of 4 or 5 meters.
